Karla Nicole Martinez

Karla Nicole Martinez, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, was born on September 21st, 2003 in Houston, Texas. She tragically departed from this world on March 24th, 2024 in the same city. Karla's passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family and friends.

Karla is survived by her loving mother Jennifer Rocha; devoted father Carlos Martinez; stepfather Daniel Medina; caring stepmother Liz Ortega; her cherished siblings Carlos Martinez Jr., Kayla Martinez, Samuel Martinez, Christopher Martinez, Daniela Medina, Daniel Medina Jr., Noah Medina and Dahlia Rose Medina. She also leaves behind her adoring grandparents Eusebia Torres and Juanita Tudon.

From a young age, Karla exuded an infectious energy that brightened every room she entered. Her rambunctious spirit and outgoing nature endeared all who knew her. Whether it was through laughter or tears, Karla had a way of connecting with people that was truly special.

She possessed an unwavering love for her family that knew no bounds. Her bond with each member of her family was unique and precious to her heart. Despite any challenges they faced together as a family unit over the years - their love remained steadfast. 

Karla's free-spirited nature allowed her to embrace life with joy and spontaneity. She approached each day with enthusiasm and fearlessness - never shying away from new experiences or adventures.

In addition to being goofy at times (which always brought smiles), Karla had an unapologetic sense of self-love that inspired those around her to do the same. Her confidence radiated outwardly as she embraced herself fully - flaws included - teaching others about self-acceptance along the way.

The loss of such a vibrant soul has left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing Karla Nicole Martinez during her brief time here on earth. Though she may no longer be physically present among us today - memories filled with laughter will live forever within our hearts.

Karla's visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Vazquez Funeral Home located at 219 E. Crosstimbers St. Houston, Texas 77022. A religious service given by Padre Leo will begin at 7:00 pm. 

Her funeral service will be held the next day on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm. The family will then go in funeral procession from the funeral home to Woodlawn Cemetery located at 1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055 for a 2:00 pm graveside service.
