Alis Vismar Varela Martinez, born on June 09, 1989, in Tegucigalpa Honduras was sent to his eternal home on December 11, 2024 in Bryan Texas due to an automotive accident. He was the beloved son of Basilio Varela and Maria Erceli Martinez.
Morro, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His Journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and unwavering faith in God.
His passing has left a big void in the hearts of his family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended but for the way it was lived and for the profound impact he had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Morro is survived by his loving father, Basilio Varela, sister Ely and brothers, Elin and Ali.
He also leaves behind his loving wife and soulmate Roxana Varela, his children Maggie and Danny and grandchildren Atzuri, Jasper, Matteo, Emilio and Zoe. As well as stepdaughter Jacqueline, son in laws and best friends Jose and Thomas.
In addition, he leaves behind his sons Alex and Kalev.
Those who knew Morro will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter and his unwavering commitment to spread love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Although it hurts us all, we know that God has taken him home and he now rests with his beloved mother in heaven.
There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we all were to have him in our lives.
