Althea Malone Obituary

Althea Denise Malone or as some of us would better know her as Niecy, was born on September 5, 1957 to Loraine June Malone of Houston Texas. She was the second of 3 children. She is preceded in death by her Mother Loraine and Grandparents, Charlie and Leader Hagans. Althea attended school in the Houston area and graduated from Kashmere High School. Her passion with the public led her to working in the fast food industry such as McDonald's and Wendy's in which she ended up retiring from 2020. Althea love attending church. She was Baptised into Christ at an early age. She attended Fellowship of the nation until her demise. 

She loved getting together with her family and friends for holidays and cookouts where there was always joy, singing, hugs, kisses and lots of love. Niecy was always checking in and calling everyone to make sure they were ok. Althea leaves to cherish her memories her 3 beloved children, Misty D. Malone (Dwight), Christian R. Malone (Dione) and Ashley D. Malone, sister; Donna R. White, brother; Philip Hagans and 7 darling grandchildren; D'Angelo Balca, Dai'shaun Spriggs, Kameron Malone, Christian C. Malone, Alex Malone, C'Arra Penny and Kayla Penny as well as a host of other family and friends.  

Services will be held at Fellowship of the Nation Church (13305 Woodforest Blvd. Houston Texas 77015) and are as followed: 

   Visitation, Friday July 16, 2021 from 9am-10am.  Funeral Service by Pastor Brady will begin at 10:00am (There will be no repass). We will then follow in Funeral Procession to Brookside         Cemetery for a graveside service to begin at noon.

   Pallbearers for Niecy are DaiShaun Spriggs, Kameron Malone, Christian C. Malone, Alex Malone, Carl Malone and Jeravion Keys; Honorary pallbearers include; Christian R. Malone, D'Angelo Balca and Philip A. Hagans.

The family would like to send a special "Thank You" to, Fifth Ward Church of Christ, Mr. and Mrs. Craig & Darlene, Randall, Dwight Zerangue and Pastor Johnny Brady.
