Carolyn Ward Obituary
Carolyn Jean Ward was born in Winchester, AR on August 16, 1935, and passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in Houston, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Verna Mae Clayton as well as her Loving husband of 50 years, J. O. Ward. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Cindy Ward, daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Claus Pedersen, her grandchildren and their spouses. Jason and Jayme Ward, Sarah Ward and Trevor Meek, and her youngest grandchild, Nick Ward. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren: Jimmy Ward and Johnny Ward.
She will be remembered fondly and deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
A graveside service will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 24th, 2026, at the Houston National Cemetery with the Reverend Tammy Heinrich officiating.
We will meet in Lane #1 at 10:45am.
