Charlene Long Obituary

Charlene Long Cathey was born April 21, 1954 in Houston TX and died December 2, 2025 in Houston, TX. She grew up in Houston where she was married and had two children. Later in life she moved to Central Texas and lived the last 20 years of her life. She lived a simple peaceful life there with her Mother and Brother.

She loved movies, music, mainly Elvis and going out to eat. She had the truest blue eyes.

She was a beloved mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Preceded in death by her parents Charles Avery Long and Tiny Lou Ann Long and Aunt Agnes Dean Long.

She is survived by her son, Dwayne Cathey and his wife Ursula Flores. Daughter, Cynthia Nunez and her husband Joe Nunez and granddaughter Annabella Nunez. Brother Curtis Long, Nephew Zack Long, and Niece Amanda Long.

We will always love her, she will be missed but never forgotten.
