Donnie was born on November 21, 1943 and was called home on June 30, 2025 at his home in Houston, TX. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Ruth Kimery Kennedy, son, Donnie Charles Kennedy Jr and wife Ranae. Daughter, Cheryl Yvonne Kennedy Kinsman and husband Dave Son, Carl Ray Kennedy and wife Tina. Daughter Tammy Ruth Kennedy and Bobby.15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, 10 siblings, and 1 grandchild.
Donnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved fishing, hunting, and watching any old western movies that you could think of. His life will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. on July 26, 2025 at Trinty Baptist Church 408 W. Clayton St. Dayton, TX 77535
