Eric Esparza

Eric Esparza was born on November 9, 1976 in Lubbock, Texas and passed away on April 3, 2025 in Houston, Texas. Eric was known for having a big heart. Eric loved spending time with family and close friends at barbecues, making them laugh, was known for always smashing people's faces into their birthday cakes. His mother was his best friend. He was a fan of the Houston Texans, Astros, and the Rockets. He was very much loved by all his uncles, aunts, cousins, and nieces. Eric is survived by his mother: Rebecca Esparza, his stepfather: Asa Douglas, his partner: Melissa Pina, his children: Anthony Miller, Eric Esparza, Lorenzo Esparza, and Liliana Esparza and he leaves behind one granddaughter. He will be very missed by all who knew him. 

Eric's service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Vazquez Funeral Home located at 1805 Huge Oaks St. Houston, Texas 77055. The recitation of the rosary will begin at 6:00 pm. 

The family will also have a memorial service the following day on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Vazquez Funeral Home located at 1805 Huge Oaks St. Houston, Texas 77055.
