Born in Zamora, Michoacán, Esperanza built a beautiful life rooted in faith, love, and family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Alejandro Ramirez, and her children: Horacio A. Ramirez (wife Ramona Ramirez), Paulo J. Ramirez, Alejandra Griffin (husband Derek Griffin), and José F. Ramirez. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: John C. Saldana Jr., Alexander Saldana, Sarah B. Griffin, and Savannah E. Ramirez while joyfully reuniting with her late grandson Xavier Saldana.
Esperanza was preceded in death by her loving mother, Paula Velasquez; her sister, Maria Serrato; and her brothers, Jesus Sanchez and Ruben Sanchez. She is also survived by her sister, Josefina Sanchez-Japay, with whom she shared a life long connection.
For 26 years, Esperanza dedicated her career to Eliot Elementary School, where not only her children, but also her grandchildren, walked the halls. She touched countless lives with her kindness, joy, and commitment to education.
Those who knew Esperanza will remember her as vibrant, joyful, and full of life. She had a radiant spirit, a warm heart, and a love that embraced everyone around her. Her legacy of laughter, resilience, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Nacida en Zamora, Michoacán, Esperanza construyó una hermosa vida arraigada en la fe, el amor y la familia. Le sobreviven su devoto esposo, Alejandro Ramírez, y sus hijos: Horacio A. Ramírez (esposa Ramona Ramírez), Paulo J. Ramírez, Alejandra Griffin (esposo Derek Griffin) y José F. Ramírez. También le sobreviven sus queridos nietos: John C. Saldana Jr., Alexander Saldana, Sarah B. Griffin y Savannah E. Ramírez, quien se reencuentra con alegría con su difunto nieto, Xavier Saldana.
A Esperanza le precedieron en la muerte su querida madre, Paula Velásquez; su hermana, María Serrato; y sus hermanos, Jesús Sánchez y Rubén Sánchez. También le sobrevive su hermana, Josefina Sánchez-Japay, con quien compartió una conexión para toda la vida.
Durante 26 años, Esperanza dedicó su carrera a la Escuela Primaria Eliot, donde no solo sus hijos, sino también sus nietos, caminaron por los pasillos. Conmovió innumerables vidas con su bondad, alegría y compromiso con la educación.
