Fidel Charles was born March 23, 1954, in Valle Hermoso Tamaulipas Mexico. He passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025 Surrounded by his family. As a child he enjoyed raising goats and horses. During his teenage years he met the love of his life Irma Arenas. They soon moved to Texas to chase the American dream. They married in the summer of 1975. Living life to the fullest dressed in western wear. He enjoyed dancing, family functions and working on his cars. Making sure they were travel ready. A dedicated worker of many talents, he soon retired in 2019 and continued working part time until 2024. To pass time he kept up with current events and worked around the house tending to yard work and the family dogs. He also enjoyed speaking over the phone with family and friends. Surrounded by his family he Always kept a positive attitude and mindset until his last breath and always accepted Jesus Christ even up until his final moments.
Fidel is survived by his wife Irma Charles and children Marla Sanchez, Fidel Charles Jr, Margarita Charles, Alfredo Charles, Ramon Charles and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will forever be in our Hearts.
Fidel Charles falleció pacíficamente el 8 de junio de 2025. Rodeado de su familia. Nació el 23 de marzo de 1954, en Valle Hermoso Tamaulipas, México. De niño disfrutaba criando cabras y caballos. Durante su adolescencia conoce al amor de su vida, Irma Arenas. Pronto se mudaron a Texas para perseguir el sueño americano.Se casaron en el verano de 1975 Vivir la vida al máximo vestido con ropa vaquera. Le gustaba bailar, las funciones familiares y trabajar en sus coches. Asegurándose de que estuvieran listos para viajar. Fidel era trabajador dedicado de muchos talentos, pronto se jubiló en 2019 y continuó trabajando a tiempo parcial hasta 2024. Para pasar el tiempo, se mantuvo al día con los acontecimientos actuales y trabajó en la casa atendiendo al trabajo en el jardín y a los perros de la familia. También disfrutó hablando por teléfono con familiares y amigos.
Le sobrevive su esposa Irma Charles y hijos, Marla Sánchez, Fidel Charles Jr., Margarita Charles, Alfredo Charles, Ramón Charles. Y numerosos nietos y bisnietos. Rodeado de su familia, él Siempre mantuvo una actitud y mentalidad positivas hasta su último aliento. Aceptando a Jesucristo durante sus últimos momentos. Para siempre en nuestros corazones.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Vazquez Funeral Home Chapel located at 750 Uvalde Rd in Houston Texas. A prayer service will begin at 7pm. The chapel doors will re-open the following day, Tuesday, June 17. 2025 at 9am. We will leave at 11am in funeral procession to San Jacinto Cemetery for a graveside service to begin at 11:30am
