Gloria L. Mendizabal

Gloria Luz Mendizabal, 66 of Humble, TX passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2023. She was born April 20, 1957, in Mexico City, Distrito Federal to Santiago and Pastora Alonso.

She is the fourth child of fourteen children. Her family was always important in her life and stayed in contact throughout the years with siblings, nieces and nephews. She could spend hours on the phone with family members catching up. She worked throughout her life to help raise her children. Helping her family and others was second nature to her. She loved music, dancing and gatherings.

She is survived by her husband Julio Enrique Mendizabal and her three children Jeannette, Genaro (Cynthia) and Daniel; two stepchildren Terry and Adrian; eight grandchildren Alyssa, Mikaila, Cristian, Romeo, Samantha, Isabel, Elizabeth and Cole. She was preceded in death by her parents Santiago and Pastora Alonso and four siblings, Ivan, Israel, Iliana and Sandra.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm with a celebration of life starting at 2:00pm at The Peach Orchard 1737 Sawdust Rd. Spring Texas 77380  friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.
