Guillermo G. Ybarra

Guillermo Garza Ybarra was born in Kingsville Texas on January 28, 1941, to Santos Ybarra and Guadalupe Garza. He took the hands of his Lord & Savior the evening of March 3rd, 2025, at the age of 84.

Guillermo is preceded in death by his parents Santos and Guadalupe Ybarra, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and his grandson Jesse Arellano. He leaves behind to cherish his everlasting memories to his loving wife of 65 years Elia R. Ybarra, children; Rosie Ybarra, Elda Y. Arellano, Guillermo Ybarra Jr. and Oscar Joel "Joey" Ybarra, six beautiful grandchildren; Krystal Martinez, Kristopher Martinez, Casey Ybarra, Andrew Saragosa and Hailey Marie Wilson, 2 great grandchildren; Sabrina Salinas and Saleen Salinas, 2 Great great grandchildren; Carlo Ace Flores and Cesar Flores Jr. 

A visitation for Guillermo will be held at our chapel located at 219 E. Crosstimbers on Friday, March 7th, 2025 from 3pm to 9pm. Reading of the rosary will begin at 7pm.  A final visitation hour will be held the following day at the Crosstimbers chapel from 8am to 9am. We will depart in procession to St. Ambrose Catholic Church for a funeral mass that is scheduled to begin promptly at 9:30am. We will then follow in funeral procession to Woodlawn Cemetery where Guillermo will be laid to rest.
