Iris Rosibel Almaraz

Iris Perez Almaraz went to her heavenly home on November 02, 2023 at the age of 44. She was a fearless person of immense strength, cheerful, independent, and strong- willed. Iris has joined her mother Maria Elida Escobar de Perez, and father Luis Alberto Perez Vasquez. She is survived by her husband, Jose Almaraz; her children, Stephanie Luna, Leonardo Luna, and Christopher Almaraz; her granddaughter, Natalia Luna; her sisters, Yennis Sorto, Carmen Lopez, Patricia Ducote, Haydee Chavez; her brothers Luis Perez and Juan Perez; 38 nieces and nephews; and many close friends. She will be remembered by her family and friends, as a wonderful, loving wife, mother, caring sister, aunt and friend. All who knew her will dearly miss her. She will always hold a place in our hearts.
Anyone who would like to join us to honor her life is welcome at her visitation service scheduled for 4:00 pm on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Vazquez Funeral Home located at 1805 Huge Oaks St. Houston, TX 77055. The mass will then be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 10 am at St. Jerome Catholic Church located at 8825 Kempwood Dr. Houston, Tx 77080, and the body will then be transferred to Woodlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery at 8010 Katy Freeway Houston, TX 77024.
Iris Pérez Almaraz partió a su hogar celestial el 02 de Noviembre de 2023 a la edad de 44 años. Era una persona intrépida, de inmensa fuerza, alegre, independiente y de voluntad fuerte. Iris se ha unido a su madre María Elida Escobar de Pérez y a su padre Luis Alberto Pérez Vásquez. Le sobreviven su esposo, José Almaraz; sus hijos Stephanie Luna, Leonardo Luna y Christopher Almaraz; su nieta, Natalia Luna; sus hermanas, Yennis Sorto, Carmen López, Patricia Ducote, Haydee Chávez; sus hermanos Luis Pérez y Juan Pérez; 38 sobrinas y sobrinos; y muchos amigos cercanos. Su familia y amigos la recordarán como una esposa, madre, hermana, tía y amiga maravillosa y amorosa. Todos los que la conocieron la extrañaremos muchísimo. Ella siempre ocupará un lugar en nuestros corazones.
