JoAnna Garcia

JoAnna Garcia passed away Sunday morning, October 25, 2020 at her home in Deer Park Texas at the age of 46.

JoAnna is survived by her parents, Albert and Rosemary Garcia, her son Matthew Rene Lopez, her daughters; Melanie Rose Lopez, Brianna Marie Haseloff, granddaughter; Carlee Rene Alvarez, sisters; Theresa Marie Garcia, Megan Nicole Garcia, Cecilia Maria Garcia, brother; Albert Garcia Jr. niece; Alyssa Maree Garcia, cousins and numerous friends.

JoAnna was born in Houston Texas on February 18, 1974. She attended Jefferson Davis High School located on the Northside of Houston, TX.
JoAnna touched lots of peoples’ hearts during her short life.
She allowed people to follow her journey battling cancer for the past 10 years. Letting people know the good and the bad days that came with her decision to keep fighting. She was an extremely strong person. She fought till her very last breath.
She enjoyed raising her granddaughter, spending time with her family, and crafting.
She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020  from 5 pm- 8 pm at The Blackwell & Vazquez Funeral Home at 750 Uvalde Rd., Houston TX 77015.

A Funeral Service will be held the following day, Monday, November 9, 2020 in the chapel from 10 am to 12 pm. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Houston Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest.
