Jorge Alberto Zuniga, de 61 años, de Houston Texas, falleció el 26 de marzo de 2023 por causas naturales. Era un amado esposo, padre, hermano, tío y, lo más importante, "abuelo". La música era su mayor pasión. Jorge no era un hombre tímido, ya que salía a bailar en fiestas, contar chistes y tocar instrumentos de percusión. Jorge se arrullaba de trabajar duro y de su voluntad de ayudar a familiares y amigos. Era conocido por ser un carpintero orgulloso. Jorge Alberto Zúñiga es la definición de un gran hombre, “a great man”. Jorge, tu vida fue una bendición; tu memoria un tesoro que atesoraremos por generaciones. Es difícil olvidar a alguien que nos dio tanto para recordar. Nunca será olvidado. A Jorge le precedieron en la muerte su padre, Andrés Zúñiga; madre, María Luisa Guajardo Zúñiga; y hermana, Sylvia Elorza. Jorge Alberto Zuniga, 61, of Houston Texas, passed away on March 26th, 2023, of natural causes. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and most importantly, “Grandpa.” Music was his greatest passion. Jorge was not a shy man, as he often danced at parties, told jokes, and played percussion instruments. Jorge prided himself in working hard and in his willingness to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He was known to be a skilled craftsman. Jorge Alberto Zuniga is the definition of a great man, “un gran hombre.” Jorge, your life was a blessing; your memory a treasure that we will cherish for generations. It is hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember. You will never be forgotten. Jorge was preceded in death by his father, Andres Zuniga; mother, Maria Luisa Guajardo Zuniga; and sister, Sylvia Elorza. He leaves behind surviving family members; his wife Sandra Robles Zuniga; children, Jorge Alberto Zuniga Jr. (Michele Schroeder-Zuniga), Maritza Zuniga (Eleazar Veliz III) and Kimberly Zuniga; grandchildren, Laina Arcely Zuniga, Camila Alize Espiricueta, Johan Ismael Franco, and Hannah Rose Boswell; siblings, San Juanita Renteria, Letty Rojas, Graciela Longines, Norma Barras, Elizabeth Mora, Andres Jr., Yadira Vega, Cesar Zuniga, Emmanuel Zuniga; Mother-in-law: Maria de Jesus Olmos Robles; and numerous, beloved political family members and friends.
