Larry Richard Wyatt, 76, of Tomball, Texas passed away May 26, 2022. Larry was born on December 14, 1945 to Ranseler and Lorraine Wyatt in Houston, Texas.
After Larry graduated San Jacinto High School in 1964, he went on to obtain his welding degree. He worked many jobs as a welder before obtaining a job with Texsteam in Houston, Texas where he worked for over 30 years.
In 1965, Larry met Nancy, the love of his life, where they went on to have their only child Michael Lee Wyatt. They were married 55 years.
After Larry retired and even before, he spent his time working on race cars with his best friend Dean Thomas Smith. He then began his other hobby of radio controlled airplanes. He not only enjoyed flying them he also built them for himself and his “flying buddies” at the Jetero R/C club. His flying room at home is filled with many memories and planes that he spent countless hours and days building.
Larry was pre-deceased by his wife Nancy J. Wyatt, his parents Ranseler and Lorraine Wyatt. He is survived by his son and daughter in law Michael and Kristin Wyatt, grandson Brandon Wyatt, sister in law Beki Sooy and her husband Thomas C. Sooy, brother in law Rick King, and many cousins, nephews, nieces and close friends.
Memorial services will be held June 8, 2022 @ 10 A.M. @ Vazquez Funeral Home, 750 Uvalde Road, Houston, TX 77015. Diane Landon of Houston will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) or the S.P.C.A. of Houston.
