Macella Bailey, born on September 19, 1954, to Weada and Washington Gordon, passed from this life surrounded by the love of her family.
She was one of six children and is remembered with deep affection by her siblings Washington Jr., Romelda, Idella, Charlene, and Samuel.
Macella was the devoted mother of her only child, Felicia, and the proud grandmother of Kendall, Aarin, Braden, and Dakota. Her joy only grew with the arrival of her great-grandchildren
-Clover, Paisley, and Willow-each of whom brought her endless smiles. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who cherished her presence in their lives.
She now rests beside her beloved husband, Edward Bailey, whom she adored and spoke of often with tenderness and gratitude.
Macella lived a full al
ed life. She loved her country music, the excitement of the rodeo, and the simple joy of being surrounded by the people she cared for. Feisty, wise, and full of heart, she had a way of making every moment memorable. Whether with family, friends, or coworkers, time spent with Macella was never dull-her humor, honesty, and energy left lasting impressions on everyone she met.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family and loved ones will continue to celebrate her life by carrying forward the memories, laughter, and love she shared so generously. Her spirit remains with us, a reminder of a life well lived and a woman well loved.
Revelation 14:13 - "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord... that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."
"We honor her life, cherish her memory, and carry her spirit with us always."
