Maria Rosalia Zamarripa

Maria Rosalia Zamarripa was born in Brownsville, Texas on September 17, 1962 and passed away in Houston, Texas on April 16, 2024. She will lovingly be remembered by her mother Maria Irene Buentello, father; Felix Gallegos Sr., sister; Debra Gallegos, brothers; Felix Gallegos Jr. and Alberto Garcia, her children; Oliva Castro and Joaquin Zamarripa, her grandchildren; Edwin, Breanna, and Adrian, as well as her great grandchild Evana.  

Maria proudly worked for Spring Branch ISD as a crossing guard for 30 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She loved watching sports especially the Houston Astros and the Houston Texans. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. 

Her visitation is scheduled for Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Vazquez Funeral Home located at 1805 Huge Oaks St. Houston, Texas 77055. A religious service given by Father Leo Gomez will begin at 3:00 pm.
