At 91 years of age, he concluded his earthly journey peacefully, surrounded by the love he had so generously given throughout his life, after facing dementia with characteristic grace and fortitude in his final year.
Born in 1933 in CD. Cerritos, Municipio de Villa Juarez, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Martin Sr. would go on to build a legacy defined by devotion to family, unwavering faith, and boundless generosity. His life was a testament to the extraordinary impact one can have through simple acts of kindness and steadfast love.
For 59 blessed years, Martin Sr. shared his life with his beloved wife, Benedicta, creating a partnership that exemplified dedication and enduring love. Together, they raised seven children: Martin Jr., Marcos, Antonio, Paula, Maria, Fernando, and Tomas. As a father, he demonstrated remarkable dedication, being present for each child's birth and remaining a constant source of support and guidance throughout their lives.
Martin Sr.'s gentle spirit and wisdom extended to his role as grandfather to Lydia, Julian, Keana, and Andrew. He embraced grandparenthood with the same wholehearted devotion that characterized all his relationships, helping to raise his grandchildren and sharing with them his special "grandpa touch of love" that made each feel uniquely cherished.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Martin Sr.'s life on Saturday, February 1st, at Vazquez Funeral Home. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a memorial service at 12:00 PM. The burial service will follow at 3:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
