Mary Gloria Morua, maiden name Guel, passed away on February 9, 2026. She was born on April 20, 1944, in Rosenberg, Texas, to Alcadio Salazar and Maria Rodriguez Salazar. She was later adopted and lovingly raised by Leandro Guel and Evangelina Rodriguez Guel.
Gloria was a devoted mother and matriarch whose life revolved around love, resilience, and family. She is survived by her children: Baldemar Jr., Teresa, Rudy, Tracy, Kimberly, and Robert. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, with special recognition of her grandson, Mark, whom she raised and shared an unbreakable bond with. In addition, she leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many extended family members.
In her later years, Mary was surrounded by dear friends who became family to her. Their companionship, care, and love meant the world to her and brought comfort and joy during the final chapter of her life.
Mary will be remembered for her strength, her generous heart, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her legacy lives on through her family, her chosen family of friends, and themany lives she touched.
