Michael Benavides Obituary
Michael Benavides, 65, passed away on November 22, 2025, in La Porte Texas. He was married for to the love of his life Elizabeth Aguirre Arroyos, for 32 years, until she passed away in 2022. He was a wonderful father, and his love will be forever cherished by his son Philip Arroyos and two daughters: Nicole Arroyos and Lezle Canales. A lifetime of memories of Mike will be carried in the minds and hearts of each of his five grandchildren: Joel Vega, Delilah Canales, Monroe Arroyos, Jose Canales Jr. and Julius Escalante.
A visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 3pm to 7pm at the Vazquez Funeral Home Chapel located at 219 E. Crosstimbers. The chapel doors will re-open the following day, Friday, December 5, 2025, at 9am for a final visitation hour. We will then follow in funeral procession to Houston National Cemetery for a 10:45am committal service.
