Philip Segundo Obituary

Philip Segundo was born in Houston, Texas on March 28th, 1972 to Marie Segundo. He was raised in Magnolia, southeast Houston off of Navigation alongside his little sister. He was a graduate from Austin High school and proceeded to learn many trades. His various occupations and skills included were a phlebotomist, manual laborer, train conductor, pipe fitter, glazier, and scaffold builder.

Philip began dating the love of his life, Isabel Trevino on August 26th, 2001. They merged their families and together raised 7 children, who they loved unconditionally. On their 18th anniversary, August 26th, 2018, they married and became one in the eyes of God. Together for 20 years, married for 2, but a lifetime of everlasting love.

Philip coached little league baseball at Mexican (Hildago) Park for 8 years. His hobbies included barbecuing, watching baseball, football, wrestling, movies, music fanatic, and of course spending time with his family. A few of his favorite things were the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, the band KISS, Corona Extra and bulldogs. He had a tattoo of a bulldog as well as a tattoo of an “S” on his chest for Segundo; but to all his children it was for Superman because that is who he was to them.

Philip is survived by his wife, Isabel Trevino-Segundo. His children: Philip Jr, Amanda (Richard), Andrew, Angelica(Chris), Johnny (Vanessa), Isaac (Valery), and Abigail. His grandchildren: Roman, Athena, Rhea, Ares and Angel. Hisnieces and nephews: Alyssa, Shayne, Kaytlyn, Mark Jr, Angelita, & Gavin

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
