Robert E. White, Jr. passed away on Saturday, July 30,2022. He was born September 26,1949 in Houston, TX. From a young age, he had an interest in science and history. His dream was to leave his mark on society in some way. He attended Houston Baptist University, where he studied the Sciences, hoping to be a professor one day. Robert became self-employed at a young age and created his own magazine distribution company: White Distribution Systems. Robert loved supporting the arts. He enjoyed attending plays, operas, and ballets throughout Houston, and also loved going to the movies, as well as attending independent film festivals. He was always intrigued by Astronomy and facts about space and would always provide fun facts to share with friends and family, or on the occasional Facebook posts. He loved conversation and was a true storyteller. He could hold anyones attention with great stories of past vacations, familial mishaps, and even more of his “fun facts”. Education and the pursuit of it was his greatest passion. He loved to learn, but also to teach anything he learned, which was the greatest gift he left behind to all his dear friends and family. He was a great man with great dreams, and he will be sorely missed!
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 4th at 10am at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
