Samuel "Sam" Martinez Rodriguez

Samuel (Sam) Martinez Rodriguez, age 27, was born in El Salvador on January 3, 1996 and went to be with his Lord on May 10, 2023 in Houston, TX. Sam graduated from Northshore High School on June 7, 2015 and continued to work and attend college with the hopes of being a psychologist so that he could help others. Sam was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend.  His charming smile and infectious giggle would warm your heart.  His generosity, kindness and affection made people feel loved and accepted.

Sam is survived and will be forever remembered by his parents Concepcion, Gladys and Steven, his brothers and sisters, Nereyda, Alex, Genesis, Genevieve, Fabian, Jovani and Arnold.  Sam also had many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the Vazquez Funeral Home Location located at 750 Uvalde Rd from 3pm to 9pm. A prayer service will begin at 6pm. The funeral home chapel doors will re-open the following day, Thursday, May 18th, 2023, for a final visitation with the family at 10am until noon. We will then follow in funeral procession to Houston Memorial Gardens for a graveside service to begin at 1pm.
