Stephanie Lissette Fuentez

On Monday, June 20, 2022, Stephanie Lissette Fuentez, 10, passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Born April 4, 2012 in Houston, Texas, she is survived by her mother Hilda Martinez; stepfather Armando Castillo; sister Daisy Y. Fuentez; brother Efren Jr. Fuentez; father Efren Fuentez; dog Tota and 3 cats Dora, Sushi, and Logan Romeo Max and numerous loving relatives and friends. During December of 2017, at a tender age of 5, she was diagnosed with brain cancer (Medulloblastoma). She underwent radiation and chemotherapy and survived cancer. Finalizing her treatment in November 2018, she survived cancer. In January of 2022, her cancer returned, and on June 10th after an exam, she was sent home with weeks to live. She continued to fight until her last breath. Stephanie adored spending time with family, friends, and her furry pets. She enjoyed arts and crafts, dancing, make up, and singing. She was always one backpack away from any adventure. Found within her many backpacks, were her art supplies, accessories, toys, makeup, chips, candy, and sunglasses. Stephanie attended Kipp Explore from Pre-K 4 to 4th grade. When at school she knew no stanger, easily making friends with those around her. She lit up every room with her extravagant and colorful outfits, smile, and sassy attitude. Stephanie brought so much joy and laughter to those around her and will be deeply missed.

El lunes 20 de junio de 2022, Stephanie Lissette Fuentez, de 10 años, falleció rodeada de sus seres queridos. Nacida el 4 de abril de 2012 en Houston, Texas, le sobreviven su madre Hilda Martínez; padrastro Armando Castillo; hermana Daisy Y. Fuentez; hermano Efrén Jr. Fuentez; padre Efren Fuentez; su mascota llamada Tota y sus 3 gatos Dora, Sushi y Logan Romeo Max asi como tambien numerosos familiares y amigos cariñosos. Durante diciembre de 2017, a la tierna edad de 5 años, fue diagnosticada con cáncer cerebral (Meduloblastoma). Se sometió a radiación y quimioterapia y sobrevivió el cáncer. En enero de 2022, su cáncer regresó y el 10 de junio, después de un examen, fue enviada a casa con semanas de vida. Siguió luchando hasta su último aliento. Stephanie adoraba pasar tiempo con su familia, amigos y sus mascota. Le gustaban las artes y manualidades, el baile, el maquillaje y el canto. Siempre estuvo a una mochila de distancia de cualquier aventura. Dentro de sus tantas mochilas se encontraban sus materiales de arte, accesorios, juguetes, maquillaje, papas fritas, dulces y anteojos de sol. Stephanie asistió a Kipp Explore desde Pre-K 4 hasta 4.° grado. Cuando estaba en la escuela, no conocía a ningún extraño, y fácilmente se hacía amiga de quienes la rodeaban. Ella iluminó cada habitación con sus atuendos extravagantes y coloridos, su sonrisa y su actitud positiva.Stephanie trajo tanta alegría y risas a quienes la rodeaban y la extrañaremos profundamente
