Victoria Michelle Arely Gonzalez

Victoria Michelle-Arely Gonzalez, lovingly known as Vicky, passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 27, just days before her 28th birthday. She was raised and went to school in Channelview, Texas, but recently relocated to Laporte, where she built a life centered around her greatest joy—her daughter.

Born in Houston, Texas, to Rhonda Hanson. Victoria was raised in a close-knit family that extended beyond just blood relatives and grew into a strong, independent, and resilient woman. She embraced motherhood at a young age, and her daughter, Alaiya Morales, was the center of her world. After the passing of the love of her life and her daughter's father, Jeyson Morales, Victoria remained a devoted and hardworking mother, always putting her daughter first.

Victoria loved being near the water and cherished time spent at Sylvan Beach with Alaiya and their dog, Nayla. She had a passion for natural healing and herbal remedies.  She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, honesty, and the joy she brought to those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Alaiya Morales; her mother, Rhonda Hanson Callejas; her stepfather, Enrique Callejas; her brothers, Brandon Vasquez, Cristian Gonzalez, and Angel Lucio and Sister in Law Mayela Pruneda Lucio; her sisters, Valeria Cenobio and Jocilynn Villegas; her God parents, Francis and Gabriel Ramirez; her God siblings, Yolanda Rodriguez and Ricardo Ramirez; and a bunch of God neices and nephews that Vicky absolutely adored, her nieces, Allanah Vasquez, Alora Vasquez, and Alita Lucio; her nephews, Julius Vasquez, Arson Lucio, and Santangelo Harbour Jr.; her aunt, Michelle Hanson; her cousins, Destinee Hanson; and Rolando Garcia.

She was preceded in death by her Fiance Jeyson Morales; her God brother, Emilio “Porky” Aguirre; and her grandparents, Ronald and Patricia Hanson.
